Silverleaf Indigotree

This small tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 604 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a flexible, wonky trunk covered in silky, gray bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is silver.

The sparse amount of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with handfuls of smooth, huge, wide leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are light grey and indigo.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, cream aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
