Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On trees, In damp forests, and In moorlands.
It is giant, growing up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is very rigid.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores.
