Amberflower

Flower type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. Its emerald stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 7 and are very thick and straight, and split into several branching stems at the top, and the huge, cream and caramel leaves are spear shaped with rounded edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single giant flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 11 cm (4.3 inches) wide, with amber petals and a green central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 25 petals. They are hardy.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like fermented fruit, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.

It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
