Silver

This enormous tree grows up to 95 meters (311.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 548 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, straight trunk covered in thin, rough, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is pale yellow.

The abundance of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with very large amounts of rough, miniature, spear shaped leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are found in turquoise, copper and orange varieties.

In early spring, it produces balls of giant, silver blossoms with slender, pointed petals. They detach easily and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like varnish.

In late summer it forms large, cyan berries.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.
