Rockvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This colossal bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,595 feet (791.0 meters) and growing as high as 778 feet (237.1 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 32 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1.2 feet (36 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The finger-like, soft leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are crimson and copper, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many balls of colossal purple flowers.
