Lilac Moss

This olive or lilac moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In moorlands, In bogs, and On trees.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is very resilient; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
