Copper Cactus

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 55 feet (16.8 meters) tall. The fan-like stem is brown, and is covered in brittle yellow spines. The spherical body is copper, and is covered in hundreds of rigid faded purple spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either azure or cyan, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. It has a faint scent that smells like pepper.

The cactus's skin is very thick, the muted red flesh is rough, and the azure sap is thin.
