Pineberry

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 29 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several branched, straight stems covered in delicate, wrinkled, pine-coloured bark, and the wood inside is pale brown.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of huge, stiff, pointed, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are generally brown, hardy and sticky.

It produces a handful of giant, muted purple flowers with wide petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cinnamon. In early summer it forms medium-sizedwhite seed pods.

The sap is caramel.
The petals are bland but very healthy
It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
