Blood Red

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This big leaf succulent grows up to 93 feet (28.3 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is lime green, and is covered in thick sheets of fine, green, hair-like spines. The smooth-edged, thick leaves are subtle green and blood red. Large amounts of them grow from the base in tight-packed layers. The leaves are light, and take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with amber petals and a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 52 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like onion.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the washed-out orange flesh is sticky, and the light red sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It comes in 11 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
