Slatevine

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 5 feet (1.5 meters) and growing as high as 423 feet (128.9 meters).

It takes 8 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The very thin, rough leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are generally slate, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a handful of average green flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of tiny fruits.
