Aquamarine Sky

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 171 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has several flexible, straight stems covered in ridged, dark green bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

The branches are very long and thick with thousands of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of large, wide, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either orange or sky blue, with aquamarine dots, strong and flexible and sticky.

It produces handfuls of tiny, blood red flowers with oblong shaped petals. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like freshly baked bread. In early autumn it forms tinyblack, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
