Indigo Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 41 feet (12.5 meters) and growing as high as 126 feet (38.4 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 2 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are rough and woody.
The perforated, sticky leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are found in yellow, gentle blue and indigo varieties, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces dozens of small copper flowers.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
