Waterleaf Grass

This small, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in small clumps that are sturdy and flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, faded yellow puff.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
