Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized, blue or white grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in small clumps that are robust and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, turquoise spikelet.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
The grains are bitter, but very healthy and are suitable for boiling.

It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
