Magenta

Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This huge fruit tree grows up to 68 feet (20.7 meters) tall and lives for up to 30 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 50 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, crooked trunk covered in hard, cracked, silver and white bark, and inside, the hard wood is black with white speckles.

The excessive amount of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with small bunches of giant, sickle shaped leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in magenta and violet varieties.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of giant, magenta blossoms with slender, pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a powerful scent that smells like sweat.

In late autumn it produces tiny, asymmetrical fruit. The crispy faded red skin is stretchy and overwhelmingly salty, and the slightly crunchy crimson flesh is sweet and sticky. The brown seeds are tiny and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
