Twining Olive

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. Its lime or caramel stems grow in bunches of 3 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the miniature, pale green and moss green leaves are finger-like with toothed edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Several giant flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, with olive petals and a grey central disk. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. They detach easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like roses, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
