Emerald

This green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In damp forests, and In moorlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very resistant.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
