Caramel Starvine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This big flower grows up to 5.4 feet (1.7 meters) tall. Its red stem is wispy and straight with a curved tip, and the small, brown leaves are very narrow and elongated with toothed edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Each stem splits 4 to 6 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 49 cm (19.3 inches) wide, with caramel petals that gradient shift to faded orange on the outer edge. The central disk is azure. The flower head is made up of 60 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. They are hardy.

It has a faint scent that smells like new books, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.

It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
