Crimsonvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 32 feet (9.8 meters) and growing as high as 10 feet (3.0 meters).

It takes 12 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The asymmetrical, crispy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are found in deep red and dark purple varieties, and have wavy edges.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
The sap is intense yellow.
