Bronze

This short tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 420 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a narrow, straight trunk covered in paper-thin, silky, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the very hard wood is brown.

The branches are very short and thin and are covered with thick bunches of covered in fine hairs, huge, thick leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are bronze and yellow.

In late summer it forms large, pale red, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.
