Orange Blossom Grass

This big, gray-green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, orange flower.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.
