Vineclasp Oak

This massive tree grows up to 115 meters (377.3 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 150 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a narrow, twisting trunk covered in thick, silky, burgundy bark, and inside, the light wood is white with black speckles.

The small handful of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with thick bunches of sticky, large, long, tapering leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are either lime or orange, with white patches.

In late summer it forms large, red berries.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.
