Waterleaf

This giant flower grows up to 14.4 feet (4.4 meters) tall. Its emerald stems grow in bunches of 6 and are very thin with a curved tip, and the tiny, burgundy leaves are long, tapering with wavy edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single large flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 36 cm (14.2 inches) wide, with petals that are gentle purple on the edges and blue at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 54 curved petals. They are very delicate.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like cigarette smoke, and it has an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
