Belladonna Shrubs

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows the first year, flowers the second year, then dies)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 39 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several sturdy, slanted stems covered in fine, wrinkled, dark brown bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches are short and thin with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of huge, stiff, pointed, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in blue and cream varieties, delicate and soft.

It produces a thick sheet of tiny, crimson flowers with perforated petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a fairly strong scent that smells like pine needles. In early summer it forms giantlight grey, winged seeds that float and land far away.

It coexists peacefully with other plants.
It is frequently struck by lightning.
