Redwood Blush

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This colossal, dark red grass grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in thin clumps that are light and frail and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, light grey flower.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.


It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
Offering it in a bouquet is supposed to bring good luck.
The leaves are high in natural sugars.
It is bio-luminescent.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
