Aquaflora

This enormous fruit tree grows up to 57 feet (17.4 meters) tall and lives for up to 25 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 29 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, twisting trunk covered in fine, cracked, light brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is yellow.

The branches are short stubs and are covered with copious amounts of tiny, very thick leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid subtle blue or aquamarine, with white splotches.

In early spring, it produces hundreds of small, brown blossoms with slender, pointed petals. They are very delicate and have a weak scent that smells like roses.

In mid-summer it produces tiny, circular fruit. The rubbery dark brown skin is peel-able and edible when cooked; it is bitter, and the slightly crunchy red flesh is spicy and very dry. The blood red seed is large and sits at the top of the fruit.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
