Waterstem Flower
Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This short flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is very thick, and the miniature, green leaves are wide with smooth edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with caramel petals that gradient shift to light grey on the outer edge. The central disk is red. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 60 tightly layered, narrow petals. They are very delicate.
It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cotton, and it has lots of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
