Silverleaf Blueberry

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 117 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has several sturdy, wavy stems covered in thick, silky, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches are short and slender with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of giant, very narrow and elongated, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are either light grey, or azure with white zig-zags, strong and flexible and smooth.

It produces lots of small, sky blue flowers with oblong shaped petals. They detach easily and have a strong scent that smells like new books. In late summer it forms smallintense purple berries.
