Orange Tuft Grass

This short, gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in extensive patches that are light and frail and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, orange tuft.

During the mid-autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
