Indigo Tuft Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This short, lime green and olive grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are durable and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, indigo tuft.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
