Aridwillow
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)This small tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 406 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a branched, curved trunk covered in rough, burgundy and brown bark, and inside, the very light wood is light brown.
The sparse amount of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with small amounts of waxy, huge, wispy leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are generally yellow.
In late summer it forms giant, lime aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.
It can survive a long time without water.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
