Watergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized, emerald grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, pink puff.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
