Twinevine

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 41 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous branched, straight stems covered in thin, ridged, light gray bark, and the wood inside is copper-coloured.

The branches are very short and slender that and are covered with thick bunches of miniature, wide, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are brilliant green with grey tips, tough and crispy.

In early spring it produces thick bunches of small, yellow flowers with 9 circular shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a strong scent that smells like perfume.
