Twining Pine
Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 128 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has numerous long and flexible, crooked stems covered in very thick, ridged, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.
The branches are very long and thin that and are covered with small bunches of small, needle-like, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are found in copper, slate and turquoise varieties, frail and crispy.
In late summer it produces lots of small, caramel flowers with oblong petals with a tube-like floral cup. They fall easily and have a mildly strong scent that smells like paint.
It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
