Silverleaf Willow
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 700 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a flexible, straight trunk covered in smooth, brown-green speckled bark, and inside, the flexible wood is white.
The excessive amount of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with large amounts of soft, giant, long, tapering leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are silver with black tips.
In late summer it forms small, olive berries.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It is often home to a particular bird species.
The leaves are bitter, but very healthy.
