Vinebark Tree

This large tree grows up to 66 meters (216.5 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 587 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a stocky, straight trunk covered in very thick, smooth, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the very light wood is light brown.

The branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with large amounts of sticky, large, circular leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in ashy green and orange varieties.

In early spring, it produces many large, aquamarine blossoms with slender, pointed petals. They fall easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like soap.

In late summer it forms small, aquamarine berries.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
