Silverstem grass

This short, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in thick clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, silver flower.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.
