Silverpine

This small tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 237 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, curved trunk covered in thin, cracked, pine-coloured bark, and inside, the soft wood is pine-coloured.

The sparse amount of branches are short stubs and are covered with small bunches of fuzzy, giant, thin leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are silver with grey tips.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, amber berries.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
