Cliffpine

This large tree grows up to 72 meters (236.2 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 108 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, straight trunk covered in thick, wrinkled, dark green bark, and inside, the very dense wood is pale brown-grey.

The branches are short and thin, with hundreds of twigs covered with large amounts of huge, pink-red needles. The needles themselves are resistant.

In late summer it produces small, orange berries.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
