Lilac Vine

This colossal vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,457 feet (748.9 meters) and growing as high as 802 feet (244.4 meters).

It takes 4 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1.9 feet (58 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The finger-like, leathery leaves reach up to 3.1 feet (94 cm) in length. They are cyan on the edges and lilac at the center, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the vine produces clusters of average aquamarine flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces plenty of tiny seed pods.
