Hazel Moss

This hazel and cream moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In rainy mountain ranges.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is very resilient.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.
