Lilac Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 46 feet (14.0 meters) and growing as high as 108 feet (32.9 meters).

It takes 13 months for the black or brown stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The wide, soft leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are found in lilac and cyan varieties, and have rounded edges.

It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
