Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This large shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 36 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has dozens of stocky, straight stems covered in thick, silky, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.
The branches trail down across the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of giant, wispy, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are generally turquoise, durable and covered in fine hairs.
It produces a thick sheet of tiny, copper flowers with broad, flat petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like cinnamon. In mid-autumn it forms medium-sizedpale green, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
