Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 45 feet (13.7 meters) and growing as high as 588 feet (179.2 meters).

It takes 18 months for the azure stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The very thin, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are found in dark grey, cyan and blood red varieties, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many giant black flowers.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
