Grayvine

This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 16 feet (4.9 meters).

It takes 4 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The asymmetrical, waxy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are brown on the sides and cyan at the center, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces handfuls of tiny cream flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny seed pods.
