Graygrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This short, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in extensive patches that are light and frail and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, orange puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for making paper
