Spicy Hazel creeper

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 31 feet (9.4 meters) and growing as high as 131 feet (39.9 meters).

It takes 23 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The thin, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are solid hazel or lime, with blood red lines, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many clusters of small brown flowers.
