Puffgrass

This giant, yellow grass grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thin clumps that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, dark brown puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
