Orange Moss

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly flimsy; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
