Lime

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 33 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several wide, slanted stems covered in fine, cracked, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is yellow.

The branches are very short and thin with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of large, wide, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either lime, or hazel with faded purple dots, frail and covered in fine hairs.

In late summer it produces a thick sheet of giant, yellow flowers with long, tapering petals. They are hardy and have a strong scent that smells like fresh linen.
